Identity

Verified digital identities for trust and accountability.

Strategic Digital Trust

At the core of PKI is a system of public and private cryptographic key pairs and trusted third-party Certificate Authorities (CAs). These elements work together to validate identities and establish trust for secure online interactions.

How PKI Works: A Detailed Process

A streamlined, highly secure process from registration to document verification and lifecycle management.

how_to_reg

1. Registration (RA)

Submit your identity documents to a Registration Authority (RA). Thorough vetting ensures the authenticity of the applicant, verifying credentials against national databases before approval.

enhanced_encryption

2. Key Generation

Upon RA approval, a secure cryptographic key pair (public and private) is generated. The private key is securely stored on a hardware token (e.g., smart card or USB token) or a centralized HSM.

3. Certificate Issuance

The Certifying Authority (CA) binds the generated public key to your identity, creating an X.509 digital certificate. This certificate acts as your verifiable digital passport.

4. Lifecycle & Verification

Apply signatures to documents. Recipients verify validity using the CA's public key. The CA also manages certificate lifecycles, handling renewals and revocations via CRLs or OCSP.

Our Service Offerings

Comprehensive digital certification services tailored for diverse security needs across government and enterprise.

Web Server Certificates

Secure your organization's web portals and applications with trusted SSL/TLS certificates. Encrypt data in transit and assure visitors of your site's authenticity, essential for e-government and e-commerce platforms.

Document Signing

Enable legally binding digital signatures on contracts, memos, and official records. Ensure non-repudiation and document integrity, accelerating digital workflows and eliminating paper-based delays.

Compliance & Global Standards

The NITA National PKI infrastructure is built upon internationally recognized cryptographic standards to ensure interoperability, high assurance, and robust security.
