NITA is proud to partner with Kinetic Events at the much expected IT Leaders’ West Africa Summit which will take place from 28th to 29th of this month at the Movenpick Hotel, at the heart of Accra
The summit will address today’s top ICT issues, and technological advancements impacting West Africa’s IT industry and provide strategic guidance and actionable tactics to advance the industry. It will provide an exclusive platform for IT executives and industry leaders to share experiences, engage in interactive discussions with fellow senior executives, government officials, senior decision makers and international industry guest speakers.
NITA is a public service institution established by Act of Parliament, Act 771 in 2008 as the ICT policy implementing arm of the Ministry of Communications. It is the agency responsible for implementing Ghana’s IT policies and its mandate includes identifying, promoting and developing innovative technologies, standards, guidelines and practices among government agencies and local governments, as well as ensuring the sustainable growth of ICT via research & development planning and technology acquisition strategies to facilitate Ghana’s prospect of becoming a technology-driven, knowledge-and values-based economy.
Through this strategic partnership, NITA aims to further deliver on our organisation’s main aim to provide very robust and effective IT solutions for all Government institutions to enable effective delivery of Government services online to all Ghanaians.
